Meet the City Clerk at the Milford Public Library

City maps, land records, death certificates, and more! The City Clerk’s Office may be well-known for issuing dog licenses, but did you know it also records our history? Come and meet City Clerk Peter C. Smith, as he shares secrets of the “From the Vault” project and tells us about the different historical documents that are being preserved. Smith has been diligently scanning records that go back to the settlement of Milford in 1639, some of which are already available to view online.
Citizens and historians alike will want to hear all about the exciting nuggets you can find at the City Clerk’s Office. Join us at Milford Public Library on Monday, February 3 at 2:30pm. This event is free and open to all!
