The Connecticut Examiner is an online newspaper dedicated to providing quality nonpartisan journalism to Old Lyme and the small towns and cities of southeastern Connecticut. Our mission is “to ask big questions in small places.” That means taking seriously the value of reporting on matters of local interest, whether it’s the impact of the latest mandate from Hartford, the arts scene, rural daily life, matters of town government, or the sweep of demographics, economics, and the environment on small towns and cities.
