Learn The Art of Cyanotype at Carriage Barn Arts

Artist & instructor Fruma Markowitz returns to lead Cyanotype workshops. In this morning intro session:
- Learn the process, experiment and develop your skills. Create prints on paper using the cyanotype historical photographic process.
- Learn how the non-toxic cyanotype chemicals (potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate) react in exposure to sun/UV light to produce permanent, magical blue and white images.
- Use botanical specimens and common objects to produce one-of-a-kind compositions involving both random and intentional mark-marking. The results are surprising, ethereal and delightful!
- Followed by Afternoon Advanced Cyanotype Session from 1:30-4:30pm.
