Ken-DUCKY Derby Fundraiser for the Little Red Schoolhouse in Northford

A rubber-duck race on the Farm River will take place Saturday, May 4, starting at 3 p.m., at Mill Pond Gatherings, 1565 Middletown Avenue (Route 17), in the Northford area of North Branford.  Sponsored by the Tototket Historical Society of North Branford, the event will raise funds to restore the Little Red Schoolhouse, a historic building in the town.  The event is sponsored by Andy Bozzuto for the historical society.  A $10 duck donation offers a chance to win a $100 gift card.  A $100 duck donation offers a chance to win a dinner for four at $400 value at the Mill Pond Gatherings restaurant.  A Patio Party with a Disc Jockey and Cookout follows the duck race in time to watch the annual televised Kentucky Derby horse race.  To purchase ducks for the race and sign up for the post-race dinner, go to:
