John Rose Kite-Flying Family & Friends at Harkness Park

If weather allows, we are hoping to start our kite flying season on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 from approx. 11 a.m.—4 p.m. at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT. Please be sure to check the John Rose Kite-Flying page late on Saturday, May 3rd for confirmation or cancellation. We will cancel if weather is bad or winds are predicted to be too light (or too strong) for a good display.
