Foundation: Pinot Noir: Wine Tasting Class with Spencer and Lynn

May 23 @ 7:00 pm

$25

Over the past four years we have pushed in many different directions, in order to bring an entirely new perspective on wine for our local area. It is easy to forget the building blocks of wine education, and for this spring we are returning to them. Each class will focus on a specific variety, and explore where worldwide it is grown and vinified. We will start with the “International Varieties” so that we can showcase grapes that are almost common all over the world. Variation is what makes wine interesting so we will show you as many different styles of the same grape as we can. We thank all of our new attendees to our classes for reminding us that we need to get back to building a foundation.

Pinot Noir is actually the parent grape for Chardonnay so it does make sense that we would follow up immediately with it. Also hailing from Burgundy, this is one of the most popular grapes in the world. David & Jules will explore Oregon, California, New Zealand, Switzerland, and of course all over France (sensing a theme yet?).

This class will be held in

17 W Main Street

Downtown Mystic
