Exhibition: A Female Landscape and the Abstract Gesture

Now through June 22:
During the long decade of the 1970s, artists replaced traditional artistic gestures with other operations, creating new abstract languages and vocabularies. This exhibition shows how four artists nailed, glued, unraveled, twisted, folded, pierced, and tied, and most importantly, fastened—all to aesthetic effect—to highlight the labor of art making.
