City Lights & Company, also known as City Lights/Bridgeport Art Trail, is a small umbrella organization that maintains a downtown art gallery, annually produces the Bridgeport Art Trail, provides arts enrichment for youth, provides promotion and work opportunities for artists and creative entrepreneurs, and is the fiduciary partner of Greater Bridgeport Pride and Bridgeport Film Fest. For 2 consecutive years, CL/BAT has disseminated $150,000 to the local creative economy through work, programs, sales, referrals and grant-writing assistance. The City Lights mission is to serve the greater Bridgeport community through art, reflect the rich heritage, cultures and diversity, and offer a platform for a full spectrum of artistic expression.
2024 marks 20 yrs for City Lights Gallery, 16 yrs for the Bridgeport Art Trail and 14 yrs for Greater Bridgeport Pride.
