White Elephant Sale 2024 Old Lyme
First Congregational Church of Old Lyme 2 Ferry Road, Old LymeFriday, July 12, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 8 a.m.-noon Every year, on a weekend in early July, the Ladies Benevolent Society (LBS) holds its White Elephant Sale (WES) on the grounds of the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. This is a huge fund raiser that grows in size every year, allowing the LBS to fund more than 25 nonprofit organizations across our region and around the world. The popular annual sale began in 1936; the only years the sale was not held were 2020 and 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic. For more information
Hunt Library Giant Tag Sale at The Center on Main, Falls Village
David M. Hunt Library 63 Main Street, Falls VillageSaturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, 9am to 3pm, Free The Friends of David M. Hunt Library will host their annual Giant Tag Sale at the Center on Main on Saturday, July 13 and on Sunday, July 14, the day of the Falls Village Car & Motorcycle Show. Quality items may be donated and dropped off at the Center on Main at 103 Main Street in Falls Village on Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12 from noon to 6PM.
