4th of July Parade and Concert on the Green in Madison
Madison Town Green Route 1, MadisonThe Town of Madison's Annual Independence Day Parade will be held on July 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The parade will proceed west on Boston Post Road (Route 1) from Samson Rock Drive to the West Wharf Road and will end in the Surf Club. The parade will require road closures. Residents and motorists should expect traffic delays along the parade route between 9:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. For more information Thursday, July 4, 2024 Reserving Space: Chairs may only be placed on the green after 1 p.m. for reserving your space due to the parade and concert taking place on the same day. 6:00 p.m. Opening act 7:00 p.m. Wallingford Symphony Orchestra Visit Madison Cultural Arts for details.
Independence Day Parade: Sound View Beach Association
Shoreline Community Center 39 Hartford Avenue, Old LymeSaturday July 6th, at 10 AM starting from community center. There will be a marching band, VFW Honor Guard, children marchers, decorated bikes, floats, balloons, and fun, fun, fun! After the parade, numerous prizes will be awarded to children for best costume, most patriotic, funniest outfit, and best decorated bike and wagon.
