While many boats were sold over the weekend, our shoreside exhibitors broke new ground with over 30 exhibitors engaging the crowds and four bands providing live music. In 2024, we expect continued growth on both boats and shoreside fun. Summer Camps at Mystic Seaport: For Ages 4 and Up

June 17 through August 12, 2024 Slots filling quickly Mystic Seaport Museum offers a number of summer camps and programs that provide a unique learning adventure! Our wide selection of Summer Day Camps offers campers ages 4 to 16 a kid’s-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum. Community Sailing day camps let kids ages 6 to 15 build and refine their sailing skills with our sailing instructors out on the Mystic River. Our residential, Joseph Conrad Overnight Camp invites campers 8 to 15 to spend a week with us, learning to sail by day, doing fun maritime themed activities in the evenings, and sleeping aboard a historic ship by night. And teens 15 and up can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. CT Open House Day on the Thames

Discover both the hidden and larger-than-life gems in Groton and New London during CT Open House Day. Once a year on the 2nd Saturday in June, sites in Thames River Heritage Park host open houses in celebration of CT Open House Day. Start in Groton Heights or Downtown New London or Fort Trumbull State Park for a fun-filled day filled with special events, festivals, demonstrations, and guided tours.
