Farmer for the Evening: Heckscher Farm

Join us to meet and greet our new spring babies, help to groom or walk some Farm animals, and make your own maple butter from scratch to take home! Participants will rotate through three different stations on Heckscher Farm to get a firsthand look at what our farmers do every day. Once you finish your chores, sit back and enjoy some light refreshments and a sweeping view of the Farm on our Overlook Terrace. Adults Only. For more information
Critter Tour at White Gate Farm
White Gate Farm 83 Upper Pattagansett Road, East LymeFun for all ages: Observe (and pat) the brand new baby turkeys; Feed the lambs; Collect eggs; Feed the laying hens & roosters and learn why organic, pasture-raised eggs & poultry are so important. Climb on the tractors for photo ops. Check the ponds for frogs, turtles and snakes! Kids 4 and under are free. Farm owner Pauline Lord leads the tour.
