Author Talk: Connecticut’s Sandy Shores : Juliana Barrett, PhD

Juliana Barrett, PhD, Extension Educator Emerita of the Connecticut Sea Grant College Program at University of Connecticut will be at the Essex Library to tell us about her new field guide, Connecticut’s Sandy Shores: An Introduction to the Geology, Ecology, Plants and Animals. Dr. Barrett will explain why Connecticut’s sandy beaches differ from many others along the Atlantic seaboard.
