AGNES OF GOD at Westport Community Theatre

π‘ππ«π§ π¨π£ ππ§ πͺππ¦π§π£π’π₯π§ ππ’π π π¨π‘ππ§π¬ π§ππππ§π₯π: John Pielmeier’s πππ‘ππ¦ π’π ππ’π, playing March 28-April 13. In this gripping drama, a court-appointed psychiatrist must assess the sanity of a nun accused of murdering her newborn child. A hit on Broadway in 1982, the play was made into a successful film in 1985, starring Anne Bancroft, Meg Tilly and Jane Fonda.
Director Tom Holehan reinvents this acclaimed Square One Theatre production for the WCT stage. Lucy Babbitt portrays Mother Miriam Ruth, the protective Mother Superior; CΓ©line Montaudy is Agnes, the young novice; and Priscilla Squiers plays Dr. Martha Livingstone, the determined yet conflicted psychiatrist.
