Camp Aldrich Registration is Now Open
Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum 258 Main Street, RidgefieldJoin us at The Aldrich for a full-day, week-long arts experience with Museum Educators and a practicing teaching artist. Campers explore the Museum’s three-acre campus, learn in the galleries, and incorporate the world around them into their art. Each week, campers will be guided through art-making workshops and activities led by a professional, practicing artist and our dedicated team of camp counselors. Weeks are tailored to specific age groups for the ultimate creative learning environment. Each session culminates in a celebration for family and friends on Friday evenings, displaying works of art that the campers developed throughout the week. Children’s Summer on Stage: Sleeping Beauty: Session One at The Garde
Garde Arts Center 325 State Street, New LondonJuly 15 – July 20 Summer on Stage is an unforgettable week-long summer theater experience at the Garde Arts Center with the Missoula Children’s Theatre! Up to 60 students will rehearse for the whole week and attend a variety of workshops, then put on two performances of an original musical with the Missoula Children’s Theater, the nation’s largest touring children’s theater. Participants will learn about many facets of theater giving them skills in presentation, confidence, self-expression and knowledge of related technical elements such as stage make-up, sound, and lighting.
