Five Points Arts Center : The Art Heist Returns Party in Torrington

Who does it benefit? Proceeds benefit Five Points Arts’ exhibition & education programming.

What is it? An evening of tomfoolery where “witnesses” (what’s a heist without witnesses!) Artists, and “Thieves” party for a good cause.

When is it? Saturday, November 16, 2024, 6:00 – 8:00 PM

How does it work?

6:00 PM – The party begins with Thieves, Artists, and Witnesses enjoying hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, entertainment, and the opportunity to “case” the art on display.

7:00 PM – The Heist begins! The Mastermind strikes first and takes their pick of the treasures, and then the Cat Burglars dash as a group, each to snatch their favorite piece of art in just three minutes. The Art Nabbers perform the next caper, followed by the Bandits, then Robbers, Looters, and Crooks, with the Artful Dodgers scrambling for the remaining works of art.

Witnesses, Thieves, and Artists are encouraged to add to the high jinks by dressing in black!
