I am writing to express my support for Jim Meyers and Amy Ruggiero, who are running for the Board of Finance. As the former Chairman of the Board of Finance, it is with great confidence that I endorse these two individuals, who bring not only a wealth of financial expertise but also a deep commitment to the betterment of our community.
Jim Meyers and Amy Ruggiero are not career politicians but finance professionals with decades of experience in the private sector. This unique background equips them with the skills and knowledge needed to make sound financial decisions for our town. Their commitment as parents and long-time Fairfield residents demonstrates a sincere dedication to the well-being of our community, now and for generations to come.
What stands out most in their vision for our town is their pledge to work independently with the elected Administration. Their promise to provide constructive and impartial input is refreshing and reassuring. Jim and Amy have spent their professional lives scrutinizing numbers in an objective and unbiased manner, benefiting their businesses and clients. Now, they hope to do the same for Fairfield, with the aim of streamlining spending, ensuring proper budgetary and accounting practices, and ensuring that every tax dollar is put to the highest and best use.
