EAST HADDAM — Night closures of the East Haddam Swing Bridge on Route 82 have been extended to March 17.
The closures are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday with possible closures on Saturdays and Sundays, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
Weekend closure updates will be available on Thursdays each week.
Rehabilitation work of the 100-year-old bridge began Jan. 4 and is expected to be completed February 25, 2025.
