OLD LYME — The Old Lyme Shopping Center at 19 Halls Road, home to a number of businesses including the Hideaway Restaurant & Pub, Andy’s Deli and an office of Yale New Haven Health will go on the auction block on August 23-25 with a reserve price set at $1.5 million.
NorthEast Private Client Group, in Shelton, Conn., is offering the property for auction.
The 5.22-acre site, with two buildings totaling 50,223 SF of mixed use commercial space, is owned by 19 Halls Road LLC of Yonkers, N.Y.
The property, which contains wetlands along the Lieutenant River, was assessed at $2.7 million total and appraised at $3.96 million in 2019, according to the town property card.
The property last sold on June 10, 2015 for $3.575 million.
Edie Twining, chair of the Halls Road Improvements Committee, brought attention to the upcoming auction during a short presentation about the proposed Halls Road Overlay District at the Board of Selectmen’s meeting Monday night.
