I strongly endorse Jill Notar-Francesco as a candidate for Old Saybrook Police Commission.  You would struggle to find a more passionate, dedicated, hard working and focused public leader than Jill.  I had the privilege of working closely with her for over 8 years on the Southington Board of Education.  For many of those years she served as the Board Secretary and represented our community at the state level for regional educational planning.  I was the BOE Chairperson during our time together and there could not have been a better colleague to assist with planning, coordination and communication with the other elected officials or citizens of our community.

As Board Secretary, she improved our communication with the community through accurate meeting minutes and improved use of video recordings of our meetings.  As our community representative at CREC (Capitol Region Education Council), Jill became the Chairperson of that organization and spoke for the educational needs of our region at educational forums and legislative events.

Through her dedication and her focus on teamwork with fellow Board members and other elected officials, she became a valuable leader within the Southington Public Schools.  She helped improve our community and the others she represented.  I am confident Jill will bring that same dedication and success to the Old Saybrook Police Commission. Without reservation, Jill is one of the best people I’ve ever met in my 20+ years of volunteer public service.
