On Arguments Against Exploring the Idea of Systemic Racism

I am continually struck by the meeting of predominantly white audiences within predominantly white communities arguing that systemic racism does not exist, and that to even explore and objectively examine the issue is, in itself, a threat, bad, wrong or — and this is the richest hypocrisy of all — racist.
