A dynamic two-day conference experience meticulously crafted by Sweets & Sounds Entertainment in partnership with the CT Office of the Arts, and hosted by the City of New Haven.This innovative event serves as a focal point for creatives and arts organizations, offering a space for learning, collaboration, dialogue, and exploration of the latest trends and developments in the arts and culture sector.
Sweets & Sounds Entertainment LLC was established by Angel Dahfay, a Black creative from Connecticut. Recognizing the lack of opportunities, funding, and support for many artists in the area, she founded a company with a dual mission. Sweets & Sounds not only provides a platform for creatives but also supports their personal careers both within and beyond their networks by hosting events that center and uplift them. In a time when circumstances often force creatives to downsize their dreams, Angel decided it was time to change those circumstances to align with their dreams.
