Project Oceanology Summer Camp 2026

June 21

Day Camp and Residential Programs
Varying age groups from 9 to 17 in separate programs.

At Project Oceanology, we believe in fostering a deep, lasting connection with the ocean and its ecosystems. Campers learn by doing: cruising Long Island Sound on our research vessel and fleet of skiffs, exploring salt marshes, and conducting hands‑on experiments in our marine labs. Along the way, they discover the creatures that call the Sound home and why protecting these environments matters. Guided by professional marine scientists, campers build real skills in oceanography, biology, and environmental science. They measure water quality, collect marine organisms, and use oceanographic tools—all while participating in fun, team‑building activities that encourage collaboration, curiosity, and problem‑solving. Our goal is to inspire responsibility and stewardship for the marine environment, empowering campers to become thoughtful advocates for the ocean’s future. We’re excited to share this journey with your family and look forward to an unforgettable summer of learning, adventure, and fun!
