Pickin’ Party at Nightingale’s Acoustic Cafe in Old Lyme

A weekly gathering of acoustic loving musicians and listeners that like to share what they know and learn what they don’t. Open to all levels and backgrounds of gigging or living room pickers and singers. We take turns around the room with each participant suggesting a tune, giving the chords out and starting up. Then the fun begins for we never know where we’ll end up. Anyone can take a solo even if they don’t exactly know how. We’ll teach you or guide you. It’s a great place to learn how to harmonize or pick up a new instrument like a banjo, ukulele, harmonica or percussion. Everybody has a unique contribution.
