Open Spaces, Wild Places Green-Tie Celebration at Coogan Farm in Mystic
Join us for our signature gala filled with nature, camaraderie, and celebration. Enjoy an evening of cocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and lively fun—all in support of protecting the wild places and open spaces that make our community so special.
The Maggie Jones Environmental Hero Award will be presented to Sidney Van Zandt, in recognition of over 60 years of land conservation advocacy and leadership. Join us in recognizing her contributions to our community. This year’s celebration will benefit the conservation and environmental education programming at the Nature Center.
We encourage you to dress in comfortable celebratory attire! Past attendees know this means just about anything you want it to mean, from wellies and woolies to gowns and fascinators. While we don’t have a red carpet, we do have lively annual entries to our Best Dressed Green Tie Awards. Keep in mind: the Green Tie Celebration will be held under our tent at the farm, rain or shine.
