Musical Masterworks presents Mike Block, Jeffrey Kahane, and Tessa Lark in February Concerts in Old Lyme
Musical Masterworks continues its 2025–26 season with an exceptional
weekend of chamber music on February 7 and 8, 2026, at the First Congregational Church
of Old Lyme.
The concerts feature acclaimed cellist Mike Block, renowned pianist Jeffrey Kahane, and
Musical Masterworks Artistic Director Tessa Lark, violin. Together, the trio brings
extraordinary artistry, depth, and musical conversation to the intimate chamber setting.
Artistic Director Tessa Lark remarked “In February, I will join forces with pianist Jeffrey Kahane
and cellist Mike Block for a concert that promises a rich mix of virtuosity, heart, and creativity,
sharing music that speaks with warmth, spontaneity, and expressive depth.”
Performances take place Saturday, February 7 at 5:00 PM and Sunday, February 8 at 3:00
PM. The First Congregational Church of Old Lyme offers a warm acoustic and close
connection between performers and audience, making it an ideal venue for chamber music.
Musical Masterworks 35 th season runs from October 2025 – April 2026 at the First
