Middles: Learn to Machine Sew at Make-Modern Westport

Middle school is the perfect age to start – or improve – their machine sewing.  Kids start developing an interest in fashion and decorating their room, and middle-schoolers have attention to learn something novel and growing attention to detail. And sewing might actually make them want to set aside the screen! In our middle-school classes, students learn everything they need to know to sew independently: essential sewing techniques, tools, and terminology. Our secret sauce is weekly projects that kids love, in designer fabrics that impress their adults. The projects and fabric selections are new every session.
