Ivoryton Playhouse Presents Tea at Five

May 15 – June 8, 2025

Set in 1938 and 1983 at Katharine Hepburn’s Fenwick estate in Connecticut, this one-woman play provides an intimate glimpse into the fiery and iconic actress’s life. Through humor and candor, Hepburn reflects on her storied career, turbulent relationships, and the challenges that shaped her life and legacy.  Directed by Jacqui Hubbard.  Stars Carlyn Connolly as Katharine Hepburn.

We are delighted to announce a partnership with The Katharine Hepburn Museum in Old Saybrook who are helping us deliver after show talk backs for Thursday 2pm matinees, May 22nd, May 29th and June 5th.  Audience members are encouraged to stay after the show to listen to Museum staff and actor Carlyn Connolly discuss all things Kate.  The talk will be followed by a Q&A.
