The Cottage Helles Lager, Pora IPA, and Ashlawn Coffee Stout (Nitro)
| It’s an exciting week as we welcome back three beers, each among our favorites in their respective categories. Ashlawn is our Coffee Stout prepared in collaboration with our friends and family Ashlawn Farm Coffee. For this round they suggested a freshly roasted batch of their Ethiopia Kembata – a natural process bean that carries a rich and rounded profile of dark fruit and brown sugar. Pora is our IPA designed around the uniquely beautiful Riwaka hop. This batch is the first to feature our selected lot from Freestyle Hops and we think it’s a stunning example of a truly singular hop. We’ve waxed poetic about The Cottage and about Helles in general, plenty of times already. For now, we’ll just say we think it’s the perfect beer style, and we’ve gone to great lengths to bring you the best example we can with The Cottage. |
