CIGAR BOX TRADITION REDUX at David M. Hunt Library

Opening with a reception on Sat Aug 31 of Labor Day Weekend, the David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village (CT) will host “Cigar Box Tradition Redux,” a group exhibition of over 30 local artists’ transformations of the titular box into objet d’art. The exhibition will be on display through September 20.
On Sat Sept 7, 10am to noon, artist Lilly Woodworth will have a collage workshop where you can make your own cigar box artwork. Attendees should bring scissors and any magazines, clippings, images, photos, and even fabric that you would like to may your collage with. Finished pieces can be added to the exhibition pending available space. Please register at 860-824-7424.
