I am proud to support the Old Saybrook Republican team this November. Led by Carl Fortuna & Scott Giegerich, this team is committed to fiscal responsibility, local control, public safety, and the overall wellness of Old Saybrook’s businesses and residents.

For the Police Commission, Katie Toolan, Susan Quish, Jeff Jordan, and Eric Dusssault have the public’s interest in public safety in mind. They want to assure our officers are appreciated and have the tools they need to keep Old Saybrook safe. With the recent uptick in break-ins and the lack of support, on the state level, for police, it’s vital we elect commissioners who will support safety while also being fiscally responsible – and all four fit the bill.

I can’t think of two more qualified candidates for Board of Finance than Brad Thorpe and Paul Carver. Both will work to keep Old Saybrook’s taxes low and work to keep our quality of life strong, which are key to living here. Thorpe and Carver will get the job done.

As always, Barry Maynard and Sarah Becker have my support. But, we lost a familiar and wonderful person in Town Hall in our long-time treasurer Bob Fish. He worked tirelessly for the Town and anyone looking to fill his shoes as Treasurer has a lot of work to do. I firmly believe Barbara Labriola is that person. She’s hard-working and knows municipal government and its finances better than most. She’s run municipal departments and has always been active in her community. She has what it takes and has my complete endorsement.

In addition to those mentioned, I’m asking voters in Old Saybrook to vote for the entire Fortuna-Giegerich team on November 2nd on Row B. Old Saybrook is a great town – let’s keep it that way.
