When I listen to President Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, the squad I think of them branding everyone who opposes liberalism as a white supremist. If conservatives give in to such lunacy we will lose our freedoms. The left’s attacks on our Constitution are slowly eating away at our freedoms. Our Constitution and the Bill of Rights represents our ability to self-govern. The left has made it their mission to attack the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, the 5th Amendment, the 10th Amendment, etc. No were in the world does a country allow the freedoms we have. If you lose them there is nowhere else to escape to. Our Forefathers created the foundation of a self-government by the people. Somewhere we lost that within our two-party system. The result has been the elimination of middle ground. Those on the right seek the laws given to us under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and those on the left seek totalitarianism. What has been taught by the left in today’s society has many Americans sacrificing freedom for false security through government handouts.
The one thing our Forefathers did not want is to see meeting the needs of the masses through centralized government not by the people but by those who govern. The Biden Administration in its short lifespan has attempted to gain control of our health system through COVID, housing through non-eviction notices, education with Critical Race Theory and Woke-ism, industry and commerce shutting down the XL Pipeline and extended unemployment benefits, nationalizing voting, open borders, etc. This is only the beginning. Should they move forward with the Infrastructure Bill, the New Green Deal, and their stimulus package laced with left wing socialist programs the Democratic Party will control much more of our freedoms. As these programs come into play so does government grow. Procurement of these programs by changing the law and regulations are not the legitimate function of government.
If conservatives do not come together based upon their belief in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as the law of the land government will reach the point of no return and the disastrous consequences that go with it. We cannot continue to allow tax policy created by elite politicians who view taxes as a means of social engineering. There is no nation on earth that has survived a tax burden 3, 4, 5 times its national income? If conservatives are still the majority in this country we must muster up the courage to do what is morally right. We cannot continue to allow the liberal left to preach appeasement and dependency on government. To do so will eventually enslave us to socialism and totalitarianism. It is our duty to preserve this nation for our children and their children.
