As a nurse, healthcare is clearly an important issue for me. Devin Carney has always been a champion for health care and has supported reducing burdensome costs.

Looking at his record, you will find someone who has supported lower costs for tomosynthesis, insulin, breastfeeding supplies and many vital medications. He co-sponsored legislation that preserves protections for those with pre-existing conditions in Connecticut.

He has been a staunch advocate for veterans’ healthcare — including veterans with PTSD and brain injuries and veterans affected by Agent Orange. He has stood up for seniors against elder abuse, for reduced costs on hearing aids, and for better abilities to age in place. Devin has also demanded better protections for nursing home residents and employees from COVID-19.

Let’s send the representative whom we know we can count on and who has always been there for us. Let’s send Devin Carney back on November 3.
